Snow Hike in the Holbrook Town Forest
Please join us on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at high noon
Dress warm in layers!
Including snow pants, boots, hats and gloves.
While this is a hike, you are can bring your ski poles, snow shoes or cross country skis! (Skiers can go first)
Bring water and a snack. We will meet at Park Dr entrance, at the giant mountain of snow. Please carpool if possible.
PS You won’t need bug spray!

The 115 acre Holbrook Town Forest is located in Northeastern Holbrook, MA. It was founded in 1955 on undeveloped land. There are several trails, winding around the glacial rock outcroppings and forested wetlands; it is a pristine place to hike, or snowshoe. Enter either from the end of Forest Dr. or at 255 Pine St. Maps available at the Conservation Office at Town Hall. This site is maintained by the “Friends of Holbrook Town Forest”, a group dedicated to the preservation of this local treasure.
